An impressive garden project is underway at Emshukantambo Secondary School in Pimville – to create an extensive garden as part of the Agri Planting initiative.
The programme is specifically targeted at supporting under-served communities in the Tshwane metropolitan municipality. The townships include, Soshanguve, Temba, Stinkwater and Hammanskraal.
In August 2020, Seriti Institute launched the “Work.Learn.Grow” programme in the small community of Mfidikoe, situated in the North West province.
Seriti Institute is a development facilitation agency that works to develop marginalised communities. After COVID-19 struck in South Africa, we saw clearly that the most pressing need was for food relief and for alternative food provisioning systems.
