Seriti Institute Supports Non-Profit Organisations, Non-Profit Companies and Community-Based Organisations through the Seriti Solutions Exchange platform, which helps non-profits and civil society organisations work more effectively and efficiently to achieve greater impact.
We support the development of civil society by assisting non-profit organisations, non-profit companies and community-based organisations who impact local communities, create decent work opportunities, and promote social innovation, community development and social change.
This Thematic Area offers the following:
- Programme and project management: Seriti provides assistance to organisations to help them better manage their programmes and projects. Support areas include project design and planning; project implementation; compliance; project impact assessment and close-out.
- Organisation-level support: Seriti provides support at an organisation-wide level related to operations management, finance, procurement, contracts, and organisational development support.
- Overarching support services: Seriti provides specialist services, such as supporting strategic or technical aspects of the overall organisation. The suite of services here includes technology (applications and solutions); process facilitation; monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes and systems; information and data management; GIS mapping; strategic advisory; technical/specialist advisory services across a range of areas and sectors e.g. agro-business; rural economy.
Seriti can support organisations that are struggling with project management of their programmes/projects and help them realise greater impact. The Seriti Solutions Exchange platform helps strengthen networks within the non-profit sector by supporting linkage across local activity and innovation systems and by encouraging greater collaboration within civil society.
Seriti’s working model uses our in-house capabilities and draws on expertise and technical support from our database of industry experts, associates and transactional advisors in various sectors and technical disciplines. This makes our model of civil society capacitation cost-effective and creates room for robust social impact and better use of funding streams.
