Seriti Institute and Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator have concluded two partnership agreements recently.
The first is to jointly conceptualise, develop and pilot interventions aimed at accelerating the transition of unemployed youth into income-earning opportunities. This allows for the cooperation between Harambee and Seriti to catalyse for inclusive growth and advocating for the removal of barriers to the economic engagement of youth in the economy.
The second is to manage and coordinate the procurement process (supply chain) on behalf of the entrepreneurs, in the Sasol “I Am Preneur” Programme, in order to start and grow their own businesses and add value to themselves and their communities. This project is being implemented across 9 nine sites in 4 provinces: Mpumalanga, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.
