Job Overview

Seriti Institute is looking for people to participate in a 6-month Presidential Employment Stimulus WES) Programme under its Work Learn Grow Agriculture Programme. Participants will be required to work for 16 hours each week. The Work Learn Grow initiative is a community farming and agribusiness initiative for low-income communities, targeting women and youth.

Selection Criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID

  • 18 years and above

  • Participants must be based in the following provinces and areas:

    • Limpopo – Bela Bela, Modimolle – Mookghophong and Giyani
    • North West – Hebron, Brits and Bethanie
    • Mpumalanga – Standerton
  • Be able to communicate in at least one local language and English

  • Must have excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Must be able to work as part of a team

  • A background in agriculture will be an added advantage

Stipend: R1,484.00 per month (16 hours per week).
