GreenWorks, through the Social Employment Fund, has extended its climate resilience training to Komatipoort, a community deeply impacted by the closure of the Komati Power Station and its reliance on mining.

Participants in the program have been equipped with knowledge on the Just Energy Transition (JET) and climate resilience, helping them navigate the shift toward sustainable livelihoods.

Beyond training, the initiative fosters peer learning and grassroots advocacy, encouraging participants to share green solutions and climate resilience strategies with local schools and community members.

Through these efforts, GreenWorks is inspiring tangible change, empowering individuals with the knowledge to build a sustainable, resilient future for the next generation.
