Sandy Dlamini Zhanda has been involved with the Community Work Programme since its inception in 2008 overseeing programmes administration at Seriti. As a member of the Senior Management team, and head of CWP Support services, her role within the organisation entails implementing innovative information management practices and procedures for ongoing organisational and project effectiveness.

Sandy is focused on optimising the functioning of the various project teams within Seriti. She facilitates and coordinates better management reporting, information flow, document management, quality assurance, scheduling project financial and human resources, she contributes to the development of standards and processes and oversees adherence thereof. Sandy manages the procurement, data and training divisions, as part of the support services functions at Seriti.

Sandy has a background in environmental science.  She started her career as a researcher working for the EcoCity Trust and moved quickly to Senior Programmes Administrator where she worked closely with the project teams to ensure correlation between performance and project objectives. Here she gained extensive experience in management, programme design, planning and reporting.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Environmental Science from Rhodes University.
